I got a confirmation email today from the running club today so it looks like Im good to go for race day. The email said they still had 50+ spots for runners so don't sweat the registration. However, it might save you money if you register prior to race day. Also, looks like there is a pre-race meal sponsored by the club the night before the run if anyone is interested.

Hey no worries, I have seriously considered doing the same thing. With all the snow we have been getting I have not had much opportunity to run lately. I'm going to see how the rest of this month plays out before I decide, but I would much rather lose some pride than risk injury from being unprepared.

Good news, bad news.

Good news: did 2.5 mi yesterday without any knee pain. Whatever was jacked up has straightened its shit out.

Bad news: no way I am ready for a 26 mile run in four weeks. I will be doing the half - not the full marathon.

We are just about one month out now and I know I am a little nervous about the run and pushing my body for such a long distance. alright you caught me...i'm the worst blogger ever.

I've been running, and since I've done such a crappy job logging it you'll just have to trust that I have been. However, I just did a road/trail 10K on January 31st in 1:00:57...not too bad but I still have a lot of work to do! I'll try to keep up the blogging.

Hi! I swear I've been running...i've definitely been bad about writing it down though...so here's what I think I've done, the dates are a lost cause, so I'll just guess.

December 31-5 miles (approx. 9 minute miles, little less)
January 1-nothing.
January 2-4 mile run, outside in the frigid fucking cold. Like, 10 minute crapmiles.
