Hey no worries, I have seriously considered doing the same thing. With all the snow we have been getting I have not had much opportunity to run lately. I'm going to see how the rest of this month plays out before I decide, but I would much rather lose some pride than risk injury from being unprepared.

Good news, bad news.
Good news: did 2.5 mi yesterday without any knee pain. Whatever was jacked up has straightened its shit out.
Bad news: no way I am ready for a 26 mile run in four weeks. I will be doing the half - not the full marathon.

We are just about one month out now and I know I am a little nervous about the run and pushing my body for such a long distance. Here's an article about training in the month prior to a marathon that has some good training suggestions to feel more prepared for the run. If you guys find any good articles or have some tips please post them for the rest of us.

alright you caught me...i'm the worst blogger ever.
I've been running, and since I've done such a crappy job logging it you'll just have to trust that I have been. However, I just did a road/trail 10K on January 31st in 1:00:57...not too bad but I still have a lot of work to do! I'll try to keep up the blogging.

Yes, she's still running... just not blogging. This race is just around the corner, everyone be sure to fill out an application (http://www.salidarec.com/ccrc/entry-forms/2010-Run-Through-Time-App.pdf) and mail it in with a check. Marathon is $40 and Half Marathon is $30 if you pay by the 18th.
